Cairn joins Relative

Today Cairn is joining Relative. Cairn keeps its name and its team, and it is now a Relative company.

Cairn turns the physical world’s public record into structured data. Places, what they are, where they are, when they are open, and how people move between them. That record changes constantly. Shops open and close, hours shift, roads are redrawn, whole neighborhoods change character. The data that describes the physical world goes stale faster than almost any other kind, and a stale answer about the real world is a wrong answer.

That is why Cairn fits here. Relative acquires and operates data platforms that turn public information into structured, real-time data. Cairn does for places what we believe should be done for every part of the public record: read the world continuously, resolve it into a common shape, and keep it current.

For Cairn’s customers, nothing changes today. Same product, same people, same agreements. What changes is what stands behind it: the backing to cover more ground, faster.

Cairn is the first company to join Relative. It will not be the last.
